Bad news hit the employee Finnish mobile phone giant, Nokia. The news related to Nokia plans to reduce 800 employees for the Finnish market. Employee reduction plan scheduled to begin in January.
The workers affected by the reduction of employees, by Nokia given a severance package of between 5-15 months of salary for those laid off or may be placed on other parts of the company. In October last, Nokia has announced employee reductions will occur as many as 1800 workers worldwide.
Nokia’s position as head of the mobile phone market is disturbed by the presence of the iPhone and Android, expected to be one cause of the reduction of employees. But surely the reason worker reduction is still uncertain.
